Shareholders of Cerro Dorado, Inc.

We wish to announce that Mr William Buchanan has sent Cerro Dorado a letter of resignation. He has served the Company as Treasurer and Director for over two years and has given his time and finances for the benefit of Cerro Dorado.We wish him well as he winds down his obligations to enjoy his retirement. Mr Buchanan has graciously agreed to help in the transition with the new Treasurer.
 
The Board of Directors wish to announce that Mr B. Thom Clark, P.G. of West Jordan, Utah has agreed to serve on the board of directors as of (August 1, 2008) and to serve as Secretary Treasurer
Mr Thom Clark has an extensive resume and geological experience in economic and environmental geology. His full resume will be on Cerro Dorado website listed under EXECUTIVE TEAM.
 
We also wish to announce that Cerro Dorado has acquired the Columbo claims l, ll, lll, and lV by paying off its debt for those claims to Medinah Minerals in the amount of $16,897.08.
The processing of the paper work in Chile will take approximately three weeks.
These funds were loaned to Cerro Dorado by the Board of Directors with the stipulation that the funds be repaid upon the closing of the pending Joint Venture.
 
The Columbo claims consist of the following as per mapping information provide by Mr Les Price.
Columbo  l     300 Hectares
Columbo ll     300 Hectares
Columbo lll    300 Hectares
Columbo lV   150 Hectares
 
Total 1050 Hectares
 
With the previous claims owned by Cerro Dorado, this gives the company a Total of 2220** Hectares.
