SHAREHOLDER UPDATE

April 24 , 2007

Dear Shareholders:

Cerro Dorado, Inc. through it's negotiators are involved in negotiations with several entities who are possible joint venture companies. Several other entities have generated substantial interest in joint ventures, and their inquiries have been considered, but those who are farthest along in the process are receiving Cerro's greatest attention because our intent is to finalize an agreement with those whom we have been in negotiations and discussion for the last year.

Our negotiating team has been working tirelessly to finalize the detailed aspects of an agreement that will be in the best interests of shareholders.

It has been a very encouraging experience to realize the extent of interest from the mining community to join up with Cerro Dorado on the Chile property. It is a testament to the quality of this property and the potential that exists.

The due diligence required by the potential joint venture partners is exhaustive with their need to look at management, status of the company, ownership as well as the property itself. They are also monitoring news releases, chat room gossip sites and shareholder updates.

As negotiations progress management will update shareholders as soon as possible. Only on the company's official website will reliable information be provided including a finalized contract.

Management appreciates the loyal shareholders for their patience and support during this exciting time for our company. Thank you for your support.

The Board of Directors
Cerro Dorado, Inc.
